Platform Issues

Fix the Basics

Residents deserve roads repaired correctly, reliable drainage, well-maintained parks, and infrastructure that works. Preventive maintenance and responsible planning save money and improve the quality of life.

Smart Water Planning

Corpus Christi needs a long-term water strategy, but not every desalination proposal is the same.

I STRONGLY oppose the Inner Harbor desalination site because it imposes unnecessary burdens on nearby neighborhoods and raises serious environmental and community concerns.

At the same time, I'm willing to take a closer look at the Barney Davis site. If it proves to be financially responsible, allows brine discharge into the Gulf rather than the Bay, and avoids placing heavy industrial infrastructure in residential areas, it deserves an honest evaluation.

Every proposal should stand on its own merits. I won't support projects because of political pressure or sunk costs. I'll support solutions that are environmentally responsible, fiscally sound, and in the best interest of Corpus Christi.

Transparency and Accountability

Government works best when residents understand how decisions are made and how their tax dollars are spent. I support clear communication, stronger oversight, and meaningful public engagement.

Housing and Homelessness

Homelessness requires practical and compassionate solutions. We should focus on stable housing, mental health resources, addiction treatment, and public safety while protecting our neighborhoods and public spaces.

Quality of Life

Clean parks, safe streets, strong neighborhoods, and opportunities for families are essential to building a city where people want to live, work, and invest.
